ANZAC DAY

Dear Diary ,
Today I went to war and stumbled upon an injured soldier. I carried him to safety, it was difficult. He was passed out and was as heavy as a house. I could feel blood dripping down my spin and my tummy rumbling like a falling mountain. I heard waves crashing down the shore and dirt in my shoes. There was a tragic smell that was slowly making its way down to to the very bottom of my feet. I could feel a loud beat whenever I took a breath. I tasted a salty sea in my mouth. There was noises coming from left to right it was as loud as a roaring dragon, sooner or later I could hear nothing but pure silence. My life was draining out like dirt sucking in the puddles. I kept on feeling like an elephant that was protecting its kind. I was so lost, it was like nothing was happening. I could only hear a loud train, like sound. I was sent back to war after carrying the soldier to the hospital… I had a gun in my hand, it was pointing to our enemies directly. I shooted as fast as I could and was as sweaty as the sea. My feet were freezing cold as snow and dry like sand. War was ending I could feel it… I was one of the only survivors left war has ended...

Cross country

Arghh I just hate cross country! Why do we even have it?
I think we shouldn’t have cross country.
It’s despicable and so un interesting also breath taking! We have to race for a while and we get exhausted. Some Colab kids and other classroom students had asthma and they still have to stumble their breaths away. cross country is like a dancing race but you have to dance for a long time which feels like forever.

You guys should run the cross country and see how much work we kids have to do for the race and we have to drain our hearts. Did you guys know how hard our hearts were beating after the race It felt like we or I was gonna die! Like I mean i'm not so get at running okay! It was so icky and gooey there and most of the students leaped in cow poop, yuck! You teachers just should stop making kids do cross country cause it’s probably the last thing most kids would wanna do.

We ran in gross muddy puddles that yucked nearly everyone out! You shouldn’t put puddles in cross country again it’s not nice but you won’t be having cross country again after reading this argument.  most of us tried so hard but we didn’t even get anything but free sausages like no chocolate or something? Some people put on there new shoes without knowing there was mud like me and got their shoes COMPLETELY covered in a muddy mess!

That’s why we should not have cross country! It’s way to muddy, breath taking and to long! So please stop giving us cross country every year if you do not agree then maybe make us do a shorter cross country with less mud.

Cycling blog post

here I go, it’s time to have a wicked time on the road! BUT wait! * rewind *  Ahhh I’m so nervous! It’s time for my first session of cycling.. What? I'm on my bike now ready to get on with my session.?! Never mind. I feel a long breezy wind flowing through my hair, a soft sound that starts to become louder and a dry taste in my mouth. It feels strange. As soon as I started biking on the court then suddenly a heartbeat stopped pumping like a  volcano calming down, voices, tastes smell and all that stuff washed away to. I was not a little  scaredy cat no more instead I was a brave little one who was feeling super duper great, that makes me feel like a monkey a little bit but that’s a good thing! Ignoring every word I could hear but never oh never did I ignore what I saw in front and behind me. I heard a big loud voice saying STOP! I wanted to keep going. Like really wanted to but I knew if my little wheels kept stirring then i’ll be in boiling stew! The man called Phil was teaching the sessions. He said to STOP because time was up it was morning tea. My heart cried I could feel its loud beat rumbling like a waterfall. But I didn’t shed a tear cause I knew that we would another session soon!

Ughhhhh!!!!!! It’s been like 3 days already!! When is COLAB dab gonna have their second session! Teachers: * Claps * Okay guys so if you’re in COLAB dab then you are having your second session right now! “We are?” YAYYYYYYY!!!! Here I go! I rushingly borrowed a bike and a helmet from Phil! I was like a little potato ‘bout to have a great time on the court yard again!...Well we learnt all the important biking skills and then rang the morning tea bell so we got off and then I slowly danced my way back. Wait...* Rewind back wards * Here I go it's time to have a wicked time on the road! 4 by 4! We were like little duckling ridin our flapping feet.

YASSSSSSSSSSSS! I’m riding, i’m riding, i’m riding… OH SORRY READERS! Mmm so I was saying……. I felt a strong breeze of wind curling and twisting my hair,I was like a ballerina dancing… Well riding but WHATEVER. The ballerina is wearing weird riding clothes as well and.. I think I should DEFINITELY stop. Anyways we kept on stopping every 30 seconds but sometimes every 40 seconds but then we FINALLY got to ride for about 3 minutes I think.

Okay I think we are finished with bike riding because we were about to make a stop enormously close to the roundabout I was worried I thought we were gonna have a biking car crash thing in my head but it was all good as you see. I wouldn’t be writing this if I wasn’t alive * Has a little bit of an awkward laugh *. We stopped because we.. By we I mean people who were helping us with our bike riding and also some of my group students in my class. So we watched some cars doing the wrong things. It was funny and we said that they were too lazy to do it but maybe they just didn’t know the laws. * Sighs * I guess this is the end of an astonishing day.
